Born in Amata Ituku, Enugu State, Nigeria, Fr. Mbaka grew up in a humble family rooted in faith and hard work.

From a young age, he showed deep spiritual passion, actively participating in prayer groups and church activities. Despite early resistance, he answered God's call to the priesthood with courage and conviction.

Ordained on July 29, 1995, Fr. Mbaka began his ministry in the Diocese of Enugu.
